The bean!

So the bean is finally here!

this board is based on speed!!!
the Bean model is based on the old retro twin fins, but has a moderised twist, with its traditional nose and entry rocker into the rounded pin tail allowing a lot of hold in bigger waves, the board also provides a lot of curve through the back foot.  All this combined allows you to use the wider, straighter front of the board for speed wile the back of the board with its rounded pin to draw tighter arks in the pocket.
the concave runs from slight rolled vee in the entry, into single concave transitioning into vee double out the back, which gives the board great speed and control from rail to rail.
available as thruster only
sizes - 5’ to 6’2
wave sizes - 1ft to 8ft/10ft
ability - intermediate to pro

the 9'1 beast

heres a little...well long board i did for Ryan Smith at treviglas surf academy in Newquay.  freshly shaped this morning this longboard is more of an alrounder with its cut off style tail....i took the design from Ryan's previous longboard and slightly tweaked the design on the shaping program to allow ryan to nose ride the board with ease. the board is now in line to be glassed next week with the arrivals of the inlayz.

this is a recent board i've been working on and should be in the water hopefully next week!
i saw a few recent film featuring Craig anderson riding a couple interesting board that caught my eye!! so after some hours of looking up Craig Anderson's Hypto Crypto model and and working out all the bottom contours rail shapes etc i based this board on the Hypto crypto and this is what came out of it!!

Whoops!!!!

So me bewteys!!!  had a little stroll down to booys yesterday morning to find a very funny sight!!

i met welshy at trovene to look at the surf and he mentioned the truck stuck down the beach.....so we went to have a gander!

this is a little bit about what happened.

An investigation has been launched after a lifeguard vehicle got stuck in sand and partly submerged by the sea on a Cornish beach.

The patrol vehicle was unable to move after they tried to drive through the surf at Booby's Bay, near Padstow, on Sunday.

The RNLI said the tide came in too quickly for it to be towed out. The vehicle, which is now a write-off, was recovered on Monday.

A full investigation would take place, the charity added.

RNLI Lifeguard Inspector Steve Instance said: "This is an isolated incident which highlights the power of the sea.

"Thankfully on this occasion no-one was hurt. However, there will be a full investigation into the incident and any lessons to be learnt will be incorporated into the 4x4 training the lifeguards receive." (From bbc)

on to other things!!!

the new 4'10 mini simmon pictured on the post bellow for the fish fry goes a bloody treat, have now had two amazing surfs.  the board is actually amazing, seeing how it looks so different and weird it surfs amazing.... the perfect blend of fluid yet solid surfing.....the board allows you to fully connect to and feel the wave yet still allowing you to lay into some decent turns!
